Baba- Great place for an apperitivo-  Love going here before dinner and sitting outside with a glass of vino- they even have a little wine window!

Trattoria 4 Leoni- cool atmosphere and waiters. Request table outside in good weather- it’s on a quiet, quaint piazza.

Casalinga- great, family run, casual, local restaurant! A weekly favorite of ours.

  • Close to Piazza Santo Spirito

Munaciello Pizzeria- the real deal! Straight from Naples.

  • Great décor and amazing pizza and food.

Il Santo Bevitore- cool, hip place- close to the Ponte alla Carraia.

  • Great wine bar next door for aperitivo.

Borgo Antico- sit outside in Piazza Santo Spirito for a great pizza. casual, easy.

Cammillo Trattoria - Fabulous food, great waiters and classic traditional setting!

Trattoria Angiolino- great, local, fun. Love this place!

Gusta Pizza- amazing pizza, very casual.

  • Be sure to walk around Santo Spirito.

All’Antico Ristoro Di Gambi- Close to San Frediano if you want to walk a little further.  Very local neighborhood.

Burro & Acciughe- delicious seafood if you are ready for a break from heavier Tuscan food. 

  • Close to San Frediano. Very local. Via dell’orto 35/R

Pandemonio  - Delicious food, a little more off the beaten path 

Neromo-  We had a fabulous dinner, great seafood and very cool, local vibe

Around Via Tournabuoni:

Antinori- our favorite for lunch! Classic, old Italian with the best wine in town.

  • Daniele, the matre’d, is our friend. Perfect stop for lunch break while shopping on via Tournabuoni!

Parione- so good! 

  • Marco will take care of you!

13 Gobbi- Must order the special rigatoni- you won’t regret it!! And the ceramic dishes are fabulous! 

Le Antiche Carrozze- Perfect for lunch while shopping on Via Tournabuoni or for casual dinner.

Obika- Mozzarella Bar on Via Tornabuoni.

  • Beautiful, fun scene to people watch!

La Bussola- great pizza

Grom- near the Duomo.
Carraia- our girls stopped here every day on their way home from school

Amazing pear ravioli and interesting salads.  We love the cool vibe.

Osteria Vini e Vecchi Sapori- fabulous food and darling waiters.

  • Very small, so be ready to squeeze in at communal tables for a fun evening!

Gucci Garden- always fun for people watching and fabulous food!

  • Perfect break for lunch while shopping- be sure to see the Gucci museum upstairs.

Shake Cafe- new, “healthier” spot for salads, smoothies and juices. Near Duomo

All’antico Vinaio, - Delicious panini!!

  • Expect a long line, but worth the wait.  between the Uffizzi and Santa Croce

‘ino- Fancier, amazing sandwiches- cool setting. Right around corner from the Uffizzi.

I Maldetti Toscana- close to the Duomo. 

  • Our family favorite for a panini on the best schiaciata.  very casual- can eat at tables inside or take to go and sit in the Piazza della Signoria.  

Caffe Amerini - amazing cappuccino! (we went here every morning when we lived in Florence) And light lunch while shopping on Via Tournabuoni. Very local.

Gilli Cafe- oldest famous coffee/pastry shop in Florence, right on Piazza della Reppublica. 

  • Best cappucino and fun traditional Florentine experience.  Fun to sit outside and enjoy la dolce vita!

The Art Bar- an absolute must after dinner!
